What ? Where ? The pile of stones pictured is a memorial on Robben Island and built by the political prisoners who were imprisoned there . What just went boom ? Quoting Appu , “Jean Tinguely’s self-destroying sculpture titled Study for an End of the World No. 2 (1962), detonated successfully in front of an audience gathered in the desert outside Las Vegas” Only Appu and NigelT survived the detonation . Way to go , guys !
