Which end is famous? Why ? This  is  the  Latin  Bridge  over  River  Miljacka  in  Sarajevo . The  northern  end  of  the  bridge  was  the  site  of  assassination  of  Archduke  Ferdinand  of  Austria  by  Gavrilo  Princip  in  1914  . And  the  rest , is  history .
