The  coat  of  arms  of  the  Pope  depicts  a  Tiara ( A )  while  he’s  in  office , but  is  replaced  by  an  Umbrella/Umbraculum ( B )  during  sede  vacante.

Something = Universe or World or India or America?

I have to go for one, so I’ll say Universe. :)

    Pope.
    Papal Tiara and Umbraculum .

Instead of the papal tiara over the keys, the tiara is replaced with the umbraculum or ombrellino in Italian. This symbolizes both the lack of a Pope and also the governance of the Camerlengo over the temporalities of the Holy See.
    :D
