The Troll A offshore natural gas platform in the North Sea is the tallest man-made structure that has ever been moved to another position , relative to the surface of the earth . The Troll platform was towed over 200 km from Vats , in the northern part of the Norwegian county of Rogaland to the current location , 80 km north-west of Bergen , the second largest Norwegian city . The pic depicts the event .
