The connect – The planes which dropped the Atom Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki
A – Enola Gay Tibbets , mother of Paul Tibbets after whom the B-29 which dropped the bomb over Hiroshima was named ( as Enola Gay )
B – Capt Frederick C Bock , after whom the B-29 which dropped the bomb over Nagasaki was named ( as Bock’s Car ) . He was the actual commander of the aircraft even though he was assigned to another aircraft known as The Great Artiste which accompanied Bock’s Car on the Nagasaki mission .
C is a good’ wagon also known as a ‘boxcar’ and the name Bock’s Car is a pun on this slang and the good officer .
