A  is  Hypatia  of  Alexandria , a  representation  of  Sophrosyne , the  god/goddess  of  temperance  and  moderation . B  is  the  Roman  goddess  Minerva . On  the  VENUS  ROSEWATER  DISH  awarded  to  the  Ladies  Singles  Champion  at  Wimbledon , on  can  find  the  image  of  Sophrosyne  at  the  centre  whereas  Minerva  is  depicted  as  the  presiding  power  on  the  outer  rim  of  the  plate .
