The demon Apasmara who symbolises Epilepsy and Ignorance . He is the dwarf on whom Shiva dances in his Nataraja depiction. In most Nataraja depictions ,Apasmara is shown as being crushed by Shiva’s foot . However , the image above is a rare one where he is depicted as sitting . Find the complete image here .
