The Kate Winslet Waterfall in Rishikesh ; named so because she took a bath in the fall during her trip to India in 1998 during research for her film ‘Holy Smoke’ . The German author is Bernhard Schlink , whose book ‘ The Reader ‘ was adapted into an acclaimed movie and gave Kate Winslet her Oscar couple of weeks back .
