The pic is of Emilio Marcos Palma , the first person born on the Antarctic continent . He also happens to be the person who was , and remains to date , born at the world’s most southerly location . He is in the Guinness book as the only person in history known to be the first born on a continent .
Pic 2 shows Gaumukh , the terminus of Gangotri glacier . India’s first base in Antarctica was Dakshin Gangotri ( Poor clue , i agree ! )
