The controversial Norma McCorvey aka ‘Jane Roe’ (A) vs US attorney Henry Wade (B) case resulted in the landmark amendment regarding abortion in the United States . The Supreme court decided that abortion is a constitutional right and legalized the same . Its lesser known companion Mary Doe (C) vs attorney Arthur K Bolton (D) dealt with the same issue and was decided on the same day as Roe vs Wade – Jan 22 , 1973 .
